Refund Policy
Refund Policy
The Z Production Group, Inc., doing business as REVOLT Training
Effective Date: August 20, 2026
Here is the short version. If you have not used the thing yet, you can have your money back. Once we have spent the seat or filed the paper, we cannot get it back either, and that is where the line falls.
The rest of this page explains where that line sits for each thing we sell, and why it sits there.
Live classes and clinics
This covers the Must Exist Autopsy and the Must Exist FLOCK FOIA Clinic, and any other class sold by the seat.
More than 48 hours before your session: full refund, no questions. Email us and it is done.
Inside 48 hours: no refund, but you can move to another date for free.
Every class is capped at twenty-five seats. When you buy one, nobody else can have it. If you cancel two days out we can still offer that seat to somebody else. If you cancel two hours out, the seat just sits there empty. That is the whole reason for the cutoff, and it is why we would rather move you than refund you.
If you miss the class entirely: tell us and we will move you to a future date, once. People forget things. We are not going to keep your money over a calendar mistake.
If we cancel or move a session: you choose. Take the new date, or take a full refund. We will not make you argue for it.
Records engagements
This covers the Must Exist Campaign and any other work where we file requests on your behalf.
Before the first request is filed: full refund. Write and ask.
After the first request is filed: no refund.
Once a request goes out the door to an agency, it cannot be unfiled. It is in their queue, on their clock, and under their obligation to answer. The work of drafting it, checking every citation against the actual statute, and aiming it at the right custodian is already spent. So that is the line.
Two things worth saying plainly, because people ask.
An agency answering that no such record exists is a real result, not a failed one. Sometimes the finding is that the paperwork the policy promised was never created. That is worth knowing and often worth publishing, and it does not entitle you to a refund.
Agency fees are separate. Some agencies charge for copying or staff time. Those charges are theirs, they go to them, and you decide whether to pay them. They are not part of what you paid us, and we do not refund them.
Advisory engagements
This covers the System Failure Institutional Diagnostic, the Lindke Audit, the GEO Score, and other custom review work.
Before work begins: your deposit is refundable.
After work begins: deposits and fees are not refundable.
These engagements are booked one at a time and take up a block of calendar. Once that block is committed, it is not available to anyone else. If your engagement letter says something different from this page, your engagement letter wins.
How to ask
Email disrupt@revolt.training from the address you used to buy, and say what you bought and what you want. That is enough. You do not need to explain yourself and we are not going to ask you to.
We answer billing mail within one business day. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually land within five to ten business days, depending on your bank rather than on us.
If you think we charged you wrong
Tell us before you tell your bank.
A card dispute takes weeks, costs us a fee whether or not you are right, and locks the money up while it runs. An email takes a day. If we made a mistake we will fix it and say so. We would much rather do that than argue with your card issuer about a sixty dollar class.
Where this fits
This page explains our refund practice in plain language. The binding version lives in our Terms and Conditions, sections 5 through 8. If the two ever disagree, the Terms control, and you should tell us so we can fix the discrepancy.
